It is a pleasure to join you at this West African sub-regional workshop being held under the auspices of AFRACA. Let me thank the organisers for the initiative and extend a warm welcome to all participants. As you may be aware, AFRACA is a wide network of institutions focused on the objective of promoting agriculture and rural finance in Africa. Therefore all participants may need to take the opportunity to build new partnerships or strengthen old ones as we deliberate on issues aimed at transforming agriculture in Africa. Read more
